On 24 December @ 08:55 AM Indian Standard Time, NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), a CPSE under Department of Space, Govt. of India and the commercial arm of ISRO, has successfully launched the next-generation communication satellite, BlueBird Block-2, of M/s AST Space Mobile onboard ISRO’s LVM3-M6 from Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. BlueBird Block-2 is the heaviest commercial satellite weighing approximately 6100 kg launched on-board LVM3 into Low Earth Orbit (LEO) by ISRO.
