Over the years, extensive, state-of-the-art infrastructure that supports multiple satellite missions, concurrently, has been established by ISRO. These include the Master Control Facility (MCF) at Hassan, about 200 km North-West of Bangalore; and the ISRO Telemetry, Tracking & Command Network (ISTRAC) at Bangalore. Both these facilities have backups located elsewhere in the country.
These centres are equipped with highly skilled technical manpower in satellite operations and management. The Centres operate round-the-clock to provide real-time support for various missions.
